Seek His Face to Bring in the Kingdom
Podcast #740
2/7/21

With Martha Kilpatrick and hosted by John Enslow

This is a continuation of a series of podcasts started in Episode #739
As for me and my house, we are going to serve God. We are gonna seek His face and we are gonna bring in the Kingdom.

John:
… and the weight came off of me. I was still crying, but then all of a sudden my body started to relax and I said, what is happening?

It was the Lord’s knocking at the door and He wanted to come in. And she said no. And it’s totally obvious. There’s several things that happened afterwards that it, it makes it totally obvious that she said no. In her life she said no.

Martha:
Well, it was, it was a while before we left, but when we did, we were going out the back door of the church and there was this gorgeous, tall woman and she was weeping. Tears were just pouring down her face and she looked at me and said, I shudder to think what will happen to the people who wouldn’t hear this message. And she meant the pastors, the co-pastor too. And, so some people saw what was, what the Lord wanted to do but uh, she was in terrific grief over it. And she was a woman on the staff of that church.

John:
So, um, so I realized, ok – the evidence is that our authority doesn’t want him. Ok? All the evidence is there and we will witness how bad it is in the days, weeks, months and years to come. We will witness the hatred of God, the refusal to, ok – and so it says, it says um … oh the scriptures they gave were amazing, but uh, is it 2 Chronicles 7:14 that will humble myself and pray?

And my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land. OK!

The authorities, ok, you had, you had a man in the White House who loved God. You have men around him, several men around him that loved God. All right? Evidence what they say. Ok, nobody knows the heart, but what they say. And, and you know, we’ve been betrayed by that. Lately people say that they’re something and then they turn away directly afterwards. So that, that’s not the issue, but um, Joyner doesn’t believe that we actually did humble ourselves and seek His face. We went for the circumstance. We went for the what is happening, we didn’t go for Who is happening. Who is the one behind all this, and because we didn’t seek His face. Now I’m not saying everybody, but it says, if My church. We had the power to do, to turn it. But, but and, and he won. But we, um, we didn’t seek His face first. We didn’t, we didn’t turn to Him, We didn’t repent. I mean, you and I repented. I know many people repented, but uh, there’s a difference. I don’t understand the difference but I do know there is a difference.

Martha:
Do you remember when you got down on the ground outside with, and Sue was looking after you. I went back to the podium and I just turned it over to the lady pastor and she sat down beside me and she was livid. She said, Why didn’t God give me this message?

John:
Oh, Jesus…

Martha:
And I went, uh no answer to that. And that was the second go round we’d had with her jealous of what God had given to someone else. And she was practically murderous about it.

John:
Mm hmm. Yeah, the evidence was all there.

Martha:
And the rest of our visit was indicative of …

John:
Oh my gosh, we were put on a, a

Martha:
We were put on a …

John:
… a bus out

Martha:
A bus, and sent out to the airport. (laughing)

I walked into Jean’s, Jean Mixon’s house the other day and she said the very same thing you’re saying. She said, we have, we Christians have wanted our ease and wanted our comfort and our safety. Is that quoting you correctly? And, and that’s true. That’s true of us. It’s true of me.

John:
But this is all for um, a glorified purpose. A wonderful purpose. This is not the end. Uh, Cyrus was given to the people of God to give them a chance. Trump was brought in to give us a chance. Ok? We didn’t see it right. We, we focused incorrectly but it’s not that God is not gonna use it. This is perfect! God is gonna use this entire thing. Huuuuuuhhhh. And this has to do with us meeting and everything like that too.

Martha:
And I’m waiting because I believe, that, and at the very beginning of the mess of this election, they, two or three people quoted – like in 1933 there was a great crisis and a revival followed it. And every time there’s a great national revival it’s because of some catastrophe. I’m waiting for the Lord to tell us that it’s for revival and that we are meeting for there to be a revival among us and a visitation of the Spirit.

But you know, to pray for repentance is good, but I think what I was saying to John was, but that’s not the right thing…

We have to have the Holy Spirit before we can repent. There has to be a great, powerful move of the Holy Spirit on us as in the Hebrides Islands, where the Holy Spirit comes and takes over. We’ve been running the Holy Spirit. We’ve been running it backwards, but what we, what we need to cry out for is the Holy Spirit. We’ve come into every small church, every big church, every place people that are meeting, and bring us what you experienced as the glory, John. It doesn’t always make you fall down the steps (laughing) but it is that powerful. Nothing, nothing to be compared with experiencing the glory of God. And that’s what I long for for us as a community, as a family. We’re a family. And I think Lin Wood said that, make sure you have a group that you can run and meet with.

And we’re going to be praying. And the reason that we have these cards and all this stuff, is that we’ll be on the same page. We’ll be absorbing the same word and receiving the same faith. And we’re gonna make ourselves focused on His, what He says to us and be, uh, oh, and the fruit of that would be just unbelievable.

That we, when we start going into the word and praying for the Spirit, we will begin, and I’ve been repenting big time and so has a lot of us (laughing), so I’m, but I’m not content that that’s all. But I think this is why we are together on the word. So I want you to bring me, if you get a word in the scripture or something from God, then we want, I want to hear that too. I want everybody to be seeking Him and we’ll come together with One Heart.

John:
So, Matthew 6:33 says, Seek the Kingdom of God above all else and live righteously and He will give you everything you need. So our focus has to be Him. And our focus has to be seeing the Kingdom and bringing in the Kingdom. And I believe that we can bring in the Kingdom. We need to bring it here. We need to bring the Kingdom down. here. We need to uh, seek His face and bring in the Kingdom regardless of what the rest of the nation does. We need to be a place that we bring in the Kingdom. That we focus on Him and we bring in the Kingdom. And I know, I mean, we have. We’ve been focusing on it. But I think that it’s, Yes.

Yeah, and what 2 Corinthians 3 is talking about uh, the glory of Moses, seeing Him face to face. And that we have a better covenant. And that, uh we should see that glory. We should, if we live in a better covenant, we can see His face. We can bring in the Kingdom. And we can change this country. And I believe it will change. I believe that we can do it. Choose this day who you serve. As for me and my house, we are going to serve God. We are gonna seek His face and we are gonna bring in the Kingdom. We will be the righteous ones that will stand for the Kingdom to be brought in.

And yes, ok. So we did it, we did it, we focused on the happening and the circumstance, not Him. All right, well we’ve learned. This is, what a learning lesson this is. He’s parenting us, He’s teaching us, He’s training us, He’s shepherding us, He’s leading us. Even in our stupidity. Did I not have to continually deal with those sheep? And in their stupidness. They were stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid. And I would have to go and tell them how not to be stupid. But then did they remember? No, I’d have to go back and remind them that’s the stupid way, we’re not gonna do this. So, and that’s what He’s done. I believe with all my heart that that’s what He’s done. We, we, we have been given an object lesson on a grand scale where it’s life or death. We’ve been put on the line.

And now, He’s saying, now. Now that you have everything on the line – that literally, your country is on the line. See if you don’t have, if you don’t have a burn, sometimes you won’t make the effort. Why would you? You just sit there, and and what I wrote about the uh, about Him busting up our blessed nest … We’ve been comfortable.

We are now put on the edge of a major crisis, uh for the church. We could be persecuted, easy. And are being. They are shutting, shutting us down. But as far as us, I want to bring in the Kingdom here. I want to seek His face. Here. I want to listen to Him. Here. And I’m grateful. I’m grateful and I’m glad He’s put us on the line. I’m glad that it’s a life or death thing.

I have been filled to overflowing with the words of Jeremiah 6:16

stand at the cross roads and look
    ask for the ancient paths
ask where the good way is
    and walk in it
and you will find rest for your souls
    BUT
    you said,
we will not walk in it

    stand
    look
    ask

    the choice is ours
    yours
    mine

    1. Nancy says:

Choosing, deciding, takes me into repentance and the spirit of Christ falls on our hearts, my heart and makes me to responde to the verses in Joel to decide rightly in Him:
Joel 3:14 “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision, for the day of Lord is near in the valley of decision.”
